The Rocket boys' soccer team is home tonight against Bishop Miege in the state semifinals. Bishop Miege is 14-3-2, while the Rockets are 18-1-0. If the Rockets win they’ll head to their third consecutive finals appearance and this is also the third consecutive year that the Rockets have faced Miege in the Semifinals.
Joseph Jaksa (D), Andrew Eldridge (GK), Owen Hughes (D), are Bishop' returning key players - all of which were all-state selections from last year's players. The Rockets beat the Stags 1-0 in last year's semifinal game. “We’re excited for the opportunity to play and I feel like our preparation was really good heading into this week,” said Rockets player Caden Davis.
This is the Rockets final home game for the season. No matter the outcome of tonight's game their final game of the season will be one of the games on Saturday November in Topeka. Where the winning teams from the semifinals will battle for first and second place while the losing semifinal teams will battle for third and fourth place. Come out and support the Rockets during their final home game tonight!!
