The Rockets cross country team travels to Buhler tomorrow October 24th for the Class 4A regionals. Last season the boys team took fifth in regionals, while the girls took third. The top three teams at regionals will qualify for the state meet, with the top 15 individuals not on those teams also qualifying.
The Buhler boys and girls teams will be tough competition, as well as the Andale girls. Recent performances by both the boys and girls teams at the league meet have head coach Brandon Barger optimistic about their chances. “IF girls ran like we did Monday, we should go to state,” Barger said. “They are really running well right now. The boys are outside looking in, but we have a couple of key athletes that need to do their thing.”
