The cross country team raced at the Wamego Invitational this past Friday. “Wamego is always a good meet to go to because it is also the state course, they changed the course due to construction,” said head coach Brandon Barger. “But it ended up not too bad with the course being reversed.” The girls team was led by Mya McCrea at 55th place, Ingrid Mitchell finished at 81st place, and Millie Whitmer placed 87th place. On the boys side Mark Adamson finished in 27th place, Carsen Nickelson finished in 77th place, and Jon Barb finished in 100th place.
The Rockets will race again on Saturday, September 19th at the Wichita East Invitational.
