Last season, the Rose Hill Rockets men's soccer team were the 2025 4A state champions. They finished the season 19-2, only losing to two 5A schools. Some of the key returning players for this season are Jaxon Kaba, Sebastian Rodriguez, Caden Davis, Nathaniel Salinas, Caedon Defoor, and Joshua Herrera. The 4A player of the year, Brady Liebel, is also returning to the team.
The Rockets will face off against several challenging opponents during the regular season, including Andover Central, Dodge City, Goddard Eisenhower, and Buhler. Head coach Jerry Treat says, “We hope to repeat as 4A State champions as we are returning the majority of our team”. The Rockets have their eyes set on setting their title as champions in stone and don't plan on settling for anything less than that.
The team's first varsity game this season is on Friday August 28th at 6:30pm. It is a home game against Eudora.
