Bye-Bye Roster Rebuilds
What seems like forever ago, I was a freshman on his first day of high school taking a keyboarding class in Mr. Wright’s class because I had no clue how to type. By the end of that year, I had become competent in the annoying but much needed skill of typing. With my newfound skill came the idea by Mr. Wright to possibly join his web design class the next year. Not thinking much of it I kind of dismissed it as a lighthearted joke. As the next year went by I got another comment about joining the class as a junior, so I gave in and joined the class. Little did I know what was in store; I had a blast hanging out with my friends in his class but then came the tedious task of conversions and then interactive roster rebuilds this year. The work can be kind of difficult but the tradeoff is spending time with friends and the occasional pizza runs make it totally worth it. I am grateful for the chance to become more affluent with technology and even more thankful for the time I got to spend with friends. All in all it is a great class to take with friends and I recommend it to anyone.
Great Memories
This class, to say the least, holds so many fun memories and also life lessons. I was in this class with some of my best buds making it pretty fun; however, we all laughed and joked around with Mr. Wright as well. Most days, this class resembled life to the “T”. Mr. Wright would give us our assignments and we were put on the clock to get them done. Some days we would get them done later than he would have liked but ultimately we did what we were supposed to. Each one of my fellow webmasters can thank Mr. Wright for the mindset of coming in, knowing what needs to get done, not leaving until it was done, and always having fun while doing it. I am very glad I took this class and would definitely do it again. Whoever is reading this, if you still can, I would strongly suggest thinking about taking it. Deuces Rose Hill.

The Chamber of Secrets
My buddy Braden Geer told me at the end of my Junior year that I should help him with a computer class. I said, “I’m not very good with computer stuff” and he said, “It will be so much fun we can go get food everyday” and me being a big guy I thought it was a good deal. However, I was still hesitant because I felt like there were better classes to take. When August came around and I was done with football practice Mr. Wright came and convinced me to take the class and since my other friend Grant Scheer is taking the class I said, “sure why not it might be fun”. The first day of class I was completely overwhelmed since I haven’t taken a computer class since 8th grade. Since then everyone has helped me to get better at all the tools to help keep this website running. In the end, this class was super fun writing and talking about sports all year long. If you’re a sophomore or junior, I would suggest you take this class, even if you don’t know much about computers, you will learn. It has been a fun year Rocket Athletics, peace out.
Konner and Grant Lured Me In...
At the end of the first semester, I was looking for a fourth hour to fill in so I could have a pretty laid back schedule. After telling Grant and Konner, they made it sound so easy. “We literally go get pizza like everyday and put in results if there was a sport the night before.” Well, that was a lie. It was not the easy workload I was expecting. Although I had to push through the work, it was a fun ride. No matter how many “your mom” jokes I could take, it was always somehow funny to Konner. Even though I still can’t find my baseball, I’m still leaving without it. There were many laughs in this class and I guess I’ll miss it. I hope to see this website continue to run strong! Goodbye forever!
